Houston Texans Embarrassed By Minnesota Vikings
Watching this game made me realize that the Texans are not a team who are going make it very far in the playoffs.
A lot of supporters and even Texan players have asked why they don’t get any national respect or recognition even with their
11-2 winning record? Well i think they got their answer, they are just to unpredictable, and with a head coach who gives up the game with 3 minutes left on the game clock you can’t be to confident. The only sad part of today’s fiasco is that J.J. Watt probably blew his chances of League MVP and mostly through the incompetence of his lack luster team mates, head among them the cart horse like Matt Schaub.
If Houston Texans owner Bob Mcnair want’s his football team to be a top NFL team who can compete with teams like the New England Patriots, New York Giants, GreenBay Packers he has to seriously think about making changes at QB and HC.
Matt Schaub is a solid work horse style QB, he is unfortunately very static and seems to fall apart when his team really needs him.
He is not an “elite” QB by any stretch, and is maybe good for one playoff win but that’s it.
As far as Gary Kubiak the Texans head coach? AKA “It’s on me” there is a shell but not much else, he must have one of the biggest play sheets in the game but nothing exciting seems to come out of it. When things go well it’s all OK but when things go bad they really go bad. Kubiak, like his favorite quarter back Matt Schaub don’t do well under pressure, they play the same way win or loose and can’t seem to adapt to different on field conditions.
There is not much else you could say for the duo except that with them at the helm the Houston Texans will never go further
than a game in the Playoffs. Take note Mr. Mcnair…
